I'm a zider drinkkkerrrr, I drinks it all of the day! (or so said The Wurzels, like, every day)

Jas and I got up early this morning to set up the Saga Magazine stand at Countryfile Live. We'd set off yesterday, my Mini crammed with wicker baskets and kilner jars full of sweets, not to mention boxes and boxes of the August issue of Saga Magazine.

After a fun-filled night, eating pie and chips at David Cameron's local and ironing strings of bunting, we met up with the rest of the team, who were battling the elements. The stand looked great, as did Katy's trusty campervan Margherita, emblazoned with the brand new Saga logo.

We made a swift exit before the public arrived in their droves.

Was it worth it? You bet. Even if it took seven hours to drive home. Needed a cider after that, I tell thee!

Katy in the rain :-(
